Two big charity campaigns were also part of SPIEL ’19: The cake donation campaign “BrettSPIELcake” and the sale of games donated by publishers. 

In order to collect more money for Balu und Du e.V., SPIEL spontaneously launched another campaign under the name #Spiel4Good. A lot of exhibitors have donated around 600 games for a good cause in the run-up to the fair, which can be sold together with the games that were handed in at the games libary of SPIEL-PREVIEW-NIGHT 2019.

At short notice Friedhelm Merz Verlag has booked a stand in Hall 5, booth 5-A113. From Thursday to Saturday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., three of these games were handed over to visitors in so-called wonder bags for a very attractive price of EUR 25,–. As a result, on Sunday, 27.10.2019, an attractive donation was handed over to the “Balu und Du” association, which supports primary school children between the ages of 6 and 10 in the extracurricular sector.
